Bangkok, Thailand – May 19, 2025

In a significant step toward strengthening regional collaboration and professional development, a 22-member delegation—including Board Directors and Dzongkhag Liaison Committee members of the Construction Association of Bhutan—visited the Thai Contractors Association under H.M. the King’s Patronage to formally sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This initiative is designed to strengthen the technical skills, management capabilities, and global exposure of Bhutanese contractors.

By forging this partnership, Bhutanese contractors are taking critical steps to upgrade their professional standards and ensure meaningful participation in projects of national importance. This collaboration underscores the Bhutanese construction sector’s dedication to contributing towards the long-term vision and aspirations of His Majesty The King of Bhutan.

The Construction Association of Bhutan (CAB), as the lead coordinating body, expresses gratitude to the Thai Contractors Association for their generous support and willingness to partner in this noble endeavor. The signing of this MoU marks a milestone in building regional ties and promoting excellence in the construction industry in line with Bhutan’s broader developmental goals.
