Terms of Reference for Program Officer
As a program officer for the Construction Association of Bhutan, your responsibilities will include:
Program Management:
- Design and develop programs and projects in accordance with the association’s strategic objectives.
- Develop project proposals and budgets in consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
- Manage the implementation of the programs and projects and ensure timely delivery reports to the association.
- Monitor and evaluate the programs and projects and provide regular progress reports to the association.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
- Represent the association in meetings, workshop and other events related to construction and development.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders to enhance the association’s credibility and influence.
Capacity Building:
- Identify training and development needs for association members and coordinate the delivery of training programs and workshops.
- Provide technical assistance and support to members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate the exchange of information and best practices among association members.
Advocacy and Communication:
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies to promote the interests of the association and its members.
- Communicate the association’s messages and achievements to stakeholders through various media channels.
- Organize and participate in public events to raise awareness of the association and its activities.
Event Management:
- Manage and coordinate the association’s functions and events.

Any other tasks as and when required or as assigned.
