The Institute for Technical and Professional Learning (ITPL) and the Construction Association of Bhutan (CAB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in promoting Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in the construction sector and enhancing the capacity of contractors in Bhutan.
Through this partnership:
- ITPL will deliver the “OHS in Construction Safety Supervisor” training program and develop additional capacity-building modules tailored to contractors’ needs.
- CAB will endorse and promote these programs among its members while providing industry insights to ensure relevance.
- Both parties will jointly advocate for financial and policy support to sustain OHS and capacity-building initiatives.
The MoU will remain effective for three years and marks a significant step towards ensuring safer construction practices and developing skilled professionals in Bhutan’s construction industry.
